Epson has introduced two new thermal point-of-sale printers in Malaysia, which are the TM-T82X-II and TM-T82IV, and both of them are designed to meet the fast-evolving needs of retail and food & beverage businesses. The timing couldn’t be better, as the global POS receipt printer market is forecasted to nearly triple by 2033 thanks to booming e-commerce, rising retail sales, and the growing adoption of mobile POS systems.

Epson TM T82X II

The TM-T82X-II is the more affordable entry-level option aimed at small businesses, thanks to its compact, water- and dust-resistant design, and a built-in power supply to keep counters clutter-free, asl well as a 25% speed boost over its predecessor, now printing at 250 mm/sec.

It also boasts a long-lasting 1.5-million-cut auto cutter, a 100 km print head lifespan, and up to 30% paper savings through advanced thermal printing technology, making it a cost-effective yet professional solution.
