Epson has released the WorkForce Enterprise AM-M5500, its first-ever mid-range A3 mono model in the series, delivering high-speed, high-volume printing for business needs.
For starters, the new WorkForce Enterprise AM-M5500 delivers a printing speed of 55ppm with fast scanning speeds of up to 70 ipm for simplex scanning and 140ipm for duplex scanning. It also brings advanced features found in the AM-C4000/C5000/C6000/C400/C550 series, including Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for creating searchable and editable documents, available with an optional OCR unit.
Furthermore, the AM-M5500 sports a sleek, curved design with a tiltable 10.1-inch LCD touch panel that offers a user-friendly interface across all AM-series models. Scalable to suit different office needs, it supports dual cassettes, expanded paper capacity, and finishing options like stapling, booklet making, and a compact inner finisher.
Built with eco-consciousness in mind, the printer leverages Epson’s Heat-Free Technology to cut energy use by up to 85% compared to laser printers, reducing both electricity costs and CO2 emissions.
