vivo Malaysia has hosted an in-depth BlueTalk session with the general media and talked a lot about its cutting-edge architecture behind its upcoming vivo X300 series, demonstrated through the flagship model’s professional-grade imaging system and revamped OriginOS 6 platform are designed to deliver a seamless blend of power, intelligence, and visual excellence.

vivo X300 Series Imaging

The international debut of the ZEISS 200MP APO Super Telephoto lens is the centerpiece here, as it allows this precision-engineered optical system incorporates fluorite-grade glass elements within a floating periscope structure that effectively eliminates chromatic aberration while maintaining exceptional image sharpness. The custom Samsung HPB sensor allows for genuine 4x lossless optical zoom without digital compromise, ensuring superior image integrity.

Keshav Chugh, Senior Product Manager of Image Effects at vivo Global

Keshav Chugh, Senior Product Manager of Image Effects at vivo Global, described the series as the company’s “most significant achievement in mobile imaging,” emphasizing how the collaboration with ZEISS led to an industry-leading 200MP system capable of delivering “professional-grade optical performance” and capturing clear, detailed shots even from extreme distances.

On the other hand, the X300 series’ imaging setup also features professional-grade stabilization with CIPA 5.5-level performance, aided by a gimbal-inspired mechanism, while the Blueprint Extreme Tracking Engine ensures precise subject tracking with the NICE 3.0 and MAGIC 2.0 computational photography engines work together to reconstruct optical signals and enhance textural details, bringing remarkable realism and clarity to every shot.

vivo OriginOS 6

On the software side, OriginOS 6 is focusing on intelligence and efficiency this time around. One of the optimizations it did is support for multi-camera synchronization to create a perfect audio-visual alignment between front and rear cameras, while Dual-View Stage Recording lets users capture both performance and reaction simultaneously.

“OriginOS 6 represents our vision for a truly seamless smartphone experience where sophisticated technology enhances rather than complicates daily life,” said Yvonne, OS Product Manager at vivo. She noted that the system has been engineered from the ground up for consistent and reliable performance across a device’s lifetime.

Backed by the Origin Smooth Engine and SGS 5-Year Sustained Smoothness Certification, OriginOS 6 optimizes kernel scheduling, memory management, and motion rendering to ensure long-term fluidity. The OS also introduces AI-powered enhancements such as Flip Cards for personalized task management, Origin Island for interactive notifications, and the vivo Office Kit for smooth cross-platform productivity.
