ROG has introduced 2 brand new gaming monitors – one for the ultra enthusiast rocking the most powerful system, and another one for the more dialed-back gamer that just wants some OLED goodness.
First, we have the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W offering 1440p 540Hz and 720p 720Hz native resolution thanks to the 27-inch Tandem WOLED panel that also packs 15% higher peak brightness, 25% wider color volume, and a 60% longer lifespan. Connectivity-wise, it includes DisplayPort 2.1a UHBR20 (with full 80Gbps bandwidth), HDMI 2.1, and a tripod socket for versatile setups.
The backside is also super “gamery’ with the half-transparent Frutiger Aero-inspired looks that goes with a sleek silver stand for a space-like look.
Meanwhile, the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQWMG targets gamers and creators who prioritize visual balance and design efficiency through the same 27-inch screen delivering up to 280Hz, 0.0s response time, and a new compact stand that’s 30% smaller than previous XG series models. Equipped with the same Tandem OLED advancements and Neo Proximity Sensor, it ensures both stunning HDR visuals and long-term panel protection. The XG27AQWMG supports DisplayPort 1.4 (DSC), HDMI 2.1, and includes a USB hub and tripod socket.
Availability
ROG Malaysia confirms that both models will be launched in the local market, with the Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W coming in the next few weeks, while the Strix OLED XG27AQWMG is slated for a later time.
