Ant International’s payment subsidiary Antom has rolled out what it’s calling an agentic payment solution, which is a secure APM checkout system that’s the first of its kind, and they’re also teaming up with Mastercard and Visa to pilot card-based transactions for AI agents.

Antom Agentic Payment Solution

The idea here is that in commercial use cases, one of the most important things AI agents need to handle is payments, and Antom says their solution can do this flexibly and reliably by covering a wide range of payment methods as it’s built with an AI-ready mandate model and advanced asset management, so it can read user intent more precisely while also keeping security and transparency in check.

Built with Model Context Protocol (MCP) that provides it the ability to handle embedded payment flows inside conversational interactions with AI agents, it essentially covers both confirmed transactions and conditional ones, like purchases under a spending cap or timed flash sales. And yes, yhey’ve even open-sourced the solution on GitHub for broader adoption.

On the APM side, Antom has introduced EasySafePay, which cuts down the usual multi-step checkout process by letting users link their digital wallets directly on the checkout page instead of getting redirected to another app. It’s not just about convenience as EasySafePay uses MPC-based AI risk management and mobile device security to spot and block fraud attempts, phishing, and account takeovers, while also protecting user privacy.

The whole system is also built to meet PCI Security Standards, with cryptographic asset management and an intent analysis model that links each transaction to verifiable credentials. This way, every step is traceable, users stay in control of what the agent is doing, and disputes can be resolved through privacy-computing credential checks.

And then on the card side, Antom is one of the first to work with Mastercard’s Agent Pay and Visa’s Intelligent Commerce in Asia Pacific, where they’re running pilots for tokenized, agent-driven card payments. The goal there is to create secure, personalized, and seamless checkout experiences, powered by tokenization, authentication, and transaction controls, to bring AI commerce a step closer to mainstream.
