TAITRONICS & AIoT 2025 is the cornerstone of Taiwan’s technology industry since it was founded in 1974. In an interesting bit of history, TAITRONICS predates all the tech shows in Taiwan, and COMPUTEX is a spinoff from TAITRONICS.

TAITRONICS & AIoT 2025 once again shines as a cornerstone event for Taiwan’s technology industry. Founded in 1974, it proudly holds the title of Taiwan’s first electronics trade show—and over the decades, it has evolved into the foundation from which many other major exhibitions, including COMPUTEX, were born.

According to TAITRA Chairman, James C. F. Huang, TAITRONICS continues to grow steadily year after year, with 250 companies and 460 booths participating this year.

Beyond the show floor, TAITRONICS serves as a key business platform for exhibitors and visitors alike. This year alone, 173 business matchmaking sessions were organized to help connect buyers, suppliers, and innovators from around the world.

A highlight of this year’s show is the AI Innovation Zone, featuring the Big Bang Startup program. Startups from 16 countries are presenting their latest innovations, solutions, and ideas—signaling TAITRONICS’ continued commitment to fostering emerging technologies and international collaboration.

When discussing the future of global collaboration, the Chairman pointed to Europe as an important region of opportunity—particularly in semiconductors. With TSMC’s investment in West Germany, there is a growing need for collaboration with Poland, the Czech Republic, and other European nations.

Beyond semiconductors, Taiwan and Europe share mutual interests in smart applications, green energy, and AI-driven technologies—fields where Taiwanese innovation and manufacturing expertise can play a leading role.

TAITRA continues to strengthen its global presence to help Taiwanese companies expand overseas. The organization recently opened an office in Dallas, and plans are underway to establish another in Arizona, following TSMC’s investment in the region.

Following the success of InnoVEX at COMPUTEX—an integral startup platform that connects entrepreneurs with global ICT leaders—TAITRONICS aims to replicate that momentum. The new Big Bang Startup program is envisioned as a similar platform, serving as the next evolution in how the exhibition nurtures new ideas and partnerships.

While TAITRONICS once focused heavily on manufacturing, it has since transformed into a technology-oriented exhibition. This year, the show features specialized pavilions such as the Automotive Electronics Pavilion and Display Technology Pavilion, showcasing cutting-edge solutions in edge computing, AIoT, and other advanced fields.

As TAITRONICS continues to grow, it remains a crucial platform for AIoT, green energy, semiconductors, and other emerging sectors that define the future of technology.

Over its long history, TAITRONICS has helped countless Taiwanese innovations reach the global stage—and with its renewed focus on startups and international collaboration, it’s poised to shape the next generation of global tech breakthroughs.

TAITRONICS 2025 once again proves that while many tech exhibitions have emerged from its legacy, none have matched its enduring influence on Taiwan’s—and the world’s—technology landscape.
