ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) Malaysia today announced that the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X gaming handhelds are now available for pre-order in Malaysia, starting at 8:15pm today via the ASUS e-Store. Wider pre-orders will be available from authorised ASUS resellers between 6-15 October 2025. Both devices officially hit shelves from 17 October 2025 onwards.
Developed in partnership with Xbox, the ROG Xbox Ally series combines console-level ergonomics with the versatility of Windows 11, offering access to PC storefronts alongside Xbox Game Pass titles. The result is a cohesive handheld designed to bridge the gap between PC and console gaming.

ROG Xbox Ally X is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor, it delivers next-gen performance in AAA titles with up to 30% performance improvements in games like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Doom: The Dark Ages. It also doubles the battery life compared to its predecessor when running titles such as Hollow Knight: Silksong.
ROG Xbox Ally, on the other hand, is equipped with the AMD Ryzen Z2 A processor, it offers up to 20% better performance in games like Forza Horizon 5 and Gears of War: Reloaded, along with up to 110% improved battery life over the previous ROG Ally X.
Both processors leverage Radeon’s latest software suite, including AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution (FSR), Radeon Super Resolution (RSR), and AMD Fluid Motion Frames (AFMF), which deliver up to 60% higher frame rates for smoother gameplay. The Ally X also includes an onboard NPU, futureproofing it for upcoming AI-enhanced gaming experiences.
