be quiet! has expanded its Light Base series PC cases with the new Light Base 500 LX, featuring sophisticated ARGB lighting, and the minimalist Light Base 500 for users who prefer a clean, distraction-free design.
The new be quiet! Light Base 500 LX is a sleek, ARGB-lit PC case equipped with four pre-installed Light Wings LX 120mm PWM fans — three side-mounted fans with reverse blades for optimized intake and one regular fan in the rear. Featuring an angled slide-out fan frame, it also offers a spacious interior that supports a 360mm radiator, ATX motherboards, and GPUs up to 400mm in length.
Furthermore, the Light Base 500 LX packs slots for one HDD and two SSDs, an ARGB controller with a hub for up to six devices, and side/bottom dust filters for system protection. Plus, it supports backside connector motherboards like Asus BTF and MSI Project Zero, with dual PSU mounting options for flexible cable management.
On the other hand, the Light Base 500 sports a clean, zero-RGB design with four pre-installed Pure Wings 3 120mm PWM fans. Sharing the same layout as the Light Base 500 LX, it offers excellent airflow, ample component space, support for up to two HDDs and two SSDs, making it a decent option for those who prefer a less flashy case.
