At IFA Berlin 2025, Acer has announced a couple of new AI hardware and software to push the development and adoption of the groundbreaking technology to the next level.

Acer Veriton GN100 (2)

First, we have the Veriton GN100 AI Mini Workstation, which is Acer’s take on the NVIDIA DGX Spark reference design, bringing in the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip to go with its own unique design. Armed with ext-gen CUDA cores, fifth-gen Tensor Cores, and 20 Arm-based CPU cores with 128 GB of unified memory and a massive 4 TB of NVMe M.2 SSD storage, developers and researchers get server-grade horsepower without needing a full data center rig.

The good thing is the device has full access to NVIDIA’s AI software stack as well as tools like PyTorch, Jupyter, and Ollama for prototyping, fine-tuning, and deploying large language models locally. The system can also scale outward seamlessly to accelerated cloud or data center infrastructure if needed.

For those working on huge projects, the GN100 can link with another unit via the NVIDIA ConnectX-7 NIC, allowing workloads with models of up to 405 billion parameters. On the connectivity front, it comes with Wi-Fi 7, four USB 3.2 Type-C ports, HDMI, Ethernet, and even a Kensington lock for added security.

Acer Medical aiMed (1)

On the other hand, the medical field is blessed with Acer’s new gen-AI powered solution, the aiMed. It is made to tackle one of healthcare’s biggest pain points: clinical documentation overload. With providers often spending up to 25% of their working hours on record-keeping, aiMed aims to free up more time for patient care while reducing burnout.

The system uses advanced real-time AI processing to convert voice dictation or typed notes into structured electronic medical records (EMRs), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth integration with existing hospital information systems. Acer Medical says this streamlining boosts efficiency by cutting administrative workload, minimizing errors, and improving patient safety.

Purpose-built for healthcare environments, aiMed’s Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) engine is tuned with specialized medical terminology and contextual understanding, while its secure cloud-based framework ensures robust data protection.

Acer Medical also highlighted its VeriSee AI-assisted ophthalmology analysis platform. Designed for modular use, it supports multiple diagnostic tools such as:

  • VeriSee DR for Diabetic Retinopathy
  • VeriSee AMD for Age-related Macular Degeneration
  • VeriSee GLC for Glaucoma Suspect

By analyzing retinal images and delivering results in seconds, VeriSee enables faster screenings and timely interventions for high-risk patients. Already deployed in more than 500 clinics and hospitals across 14 international markets, the platform is shaping preventive care outcomes worldwide.
