Intel at Barcelona MWC 2025 has announced some great news for business and industrial personnel – they are bringing its vPro portfolio to more Core Ultra 200 Series processors.
Previously only available to the 200V family of chips, this time they are adding the Core Ultra 200U, 200H, 200HX, and 200S for a complete lineup,and they will be entering machines by the end of this month. So perhaps hold back for a bit if you want some security-bolstered Team Blue-powered desktops and laptops.
For those who don’t know, vPro version of Intel processors are completely identical to the standard consumer version in terms of performance, efficiency, and whatnot – They just have additional security measures as well as QoL features that can work wonders in a corporate and organization setting.
Meanwhile, still related to vPro, Intel’s vPro Fleet Services will be going live in the foreseeable futur,e a.k.a “in a couple of weeks” as it is still under a final preview. First announced at CES 2025, this is a SaaS program that provides enhanced AI security, device management, remote-working tools, and other resources for working professionals.
