The last time we talked about the Cooler Master Shark X custom PC case belonging to the Advanced Series family that’s in January 2023 ,but behold, some baller actually got one himself, and with the help of local DIY PC name EMARQUE, a fully-powered and functional system is born.

Approached by one tech-savvy gamer in his mid-30s from Kuala Lumpur after catching wind of a Sneaker X build from EMARQUE, the buyer certainly knows what he wants – A system that didn’t just perform, but commanded attention as a one-of-a-kind centrepiece. And the Shark X just so happens to tick all the boxes for him.

The Shark X has earned widespread acclaim for its distinctive shark-inspired design. Standing nearly one metre tall, it straddles the line between artistic sculpture and engineering excellence, and with the help of some “generous cash flow”, the case has now officially made its debut in Malaysia.

Creating the Shark X was far from a conventional assembly process. With its asymmetrical and curved chassis, the design lacked a standard motherboard tray or traditional airflow structure, thus every detail required custom engineering, making this one of EMARQUE’s most technically challenging and creatively ambitious projects to date.

As such, the build is fitted with the following hardware:

  • CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9 285K
  • GPU: ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7 OC
  • Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX Z890-I Gaming WiFi
  • Memory: GSkill Trident Z Royal 64GB (2x32GB) DDR5 6400MHz
  • Storage: 2 x WD Black SN850X 2TB M.2 SSDs (4TB total)
  • Cooling: Custom Cooler Master MASTERLIQUID ATMOS
  • Power Supply: Corsair SF1000L 1000W Fully Modular Platinum SFX

With these parts, 1440p and 4K gaming is just slick as heck, with titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Monster Hunter Wilds, and Black Myth: Wukong all running at over 100 FPS thanks to the smart airflow design and a carefully tuned CPU to maintain optimal thermals and avoid throttling. And of course, the same performance can be applied to things like video editing and 3D rendering too.

And with everything done, the customer shelled out a whopping RM33,198 for the rig alone, and he also snatched a 57-inch Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 G95NC and brought the figure up to RM42,000.

So, if you just won the lottery or something, or just have that much disposable income to fulfill your dreams, you can learn more via EMARQUE’s official website.
