Hitachi Vantara has recently announced the new iQ Studio service, aimed to become the central integration hub of agentic AI through a no-code and low-code agent builder with a library of industrial AI templates, enabling faster operationalization of AI while giving organizations full control over their data and models.
Unlike cloud-only solutions, Hitachi iQ Studio delivers a fully governed on-premises and sovereign AI environment that keeps data within existing infrastructure, which is ideal for sectors with strict compliance needs. Built on the NVIDIA AI Data Platform reference design, it features pre-integrated retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and Model Context Protocol (MCP) for fast data access, automation, and pre-built templates. The platform also includes a model management system that enables enterprises to host and deploy large language and machine learning models locally.
Aside from supporting both technical and business users in managing AI agents and workflows with features for evaluation, fine-tuning, and lifecycle governance, GenAI and predictive AI workloads are done with prompt and model management, data curation, scalable deployment, and built-in safety controls. Also, its modular framework empowers non-technical users through a visual interface while offering industrial blueprints for predictive maintenance, operator skill evaluation, and fleet optimization.
On the other side of the news, the overall Hitachi iQ infrastructure has received NVIDIA Enterprise Storage Certification, confirming its readiness for high-performance and large-scale AI workloads. Hitachi Content Software for File (HCSF) also achieved NVIDIA Cloud Partner (NCP) certification for cloud-native and service provider environments, ensuring seamless integration with NVIDIA AI Enterprise and validated blueprints for faster deployment.
